Subcontractor Crew Coordinator

A local HVAC company is searching for RNC/Retro Superintendent to oversee our subcontracted projects. Qualified candidates will have basic knowledge in heating and air conditioning, strong management skills and the ability to speak and understand elementary Spanish. Pay: DOE

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate subcontractor crews
  • Oversee pre installation walk throughs, track what was sold and conduct quality control throughout various checkpoints in the project
  • Relay information and progress of the project sold. Answer questions and communicate effectively with the client
  • Order equipment, materials for jobs and coordinator all logistics to get shipments in on time and to the job site/shop
  • Maintain correspondence with all necessary parties to expedite projects
  • Create and execute proposals, submittals, change orders and all other required documentation.
  • Produce job costings for material and labor; ensure we maintain appropriate billing
  • Attend and effectively participate in project meetings
  • Delegate tasks
  • Manage contracts and relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Assemble closeout packages including O&M manuals and warranty
  • Manage special inspections, final invoicing, retention and customer satisfaction
  • Process warranties with vendors
  • Coordinate city inspections


Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • HVAC background required
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with a variety of colleagues.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Valid drivers license and insurable driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Proficient using: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook email and calendar
  • Bilingual preferred
